From January to July, the construction of key projects in Xiamen accelerated, continuously expanding effective investment and fueling high-quality economic and social development in the city. Centered on the "4+4+6" modern industrial system, a series of industrial projects have commenced. Recently, the IOI Digital Arts Industrial Park, the Marine Innovation Industrial Park (Phase I), the Qianxing Harbor Project, the Engineering Machinery Bridge and Gear Transmission System Expansion Project, and the High-Tech Parking Industrial Park have all started construction. Urban and rural infrastructure projects are also advancing rapidly: Xiamen Metro Line 6 has achieved dual-line connectivity, promoting coordinated development between island and mainland districts; Xiamen Metro Line 4 trains have been unveiled, with a future travel time of less than 30 minutes between Xiamen North Station and Xiang’an Airport; and the west approach tunnel of the Xiang’an Airport terminal area has been completed, which will facilitate the creation of a "Xiamen-Zhangzhou One-Hour Transportation Circle" once the project is operational.
