I. Overview
With a planned area of 98.6 square kilometers, the zone includes Xiang'an International Airport, the Airport Comprehensive Bonded Zone, the Lianhe Area of Xiamen Science City, and the provincial marine high-tech industrial park. Located in the heart of the Xiamen-Quanzhou-Kinmen metropolitan region, it is one of the areas in Fujian Province closest to Taiwan. The zone is committed to becoming a model green, low-carbon, smart, and future-oriented coastal urban development.
