By the end of 2020, there were 48 banking financial institutions in the city, including 12 corporate banking financial institutions. The balance of deposits in RMB and foreign currencies at Chinese and foreign financial institutions was 1.311708 trillion yuan. By the end of the year, the balance of loans in RMB and foreign currencies at Chinese and foreign financial institutions was 1.342372 trillion yuan; the balance of loans in RMB at Chinese financial institutions was 1.254835 trillion yuan, including 394.105 billion yuan in short-term loans and 773.208 billion yuan in medium-and long-term loans.
Insurance
By the end of 2020, there were 39 insurance companies in total in the city, including 21 property insurance companies, 18 life insurance companies and 89 professional insurance intermediaries. The premium income for the whole year totaled 23.646 billion yuan, including 7.608 billion yuan for property insurance and 16.038 billion yuan for life insurance. The amount of insurance coverage for the whole year was 29.88 trillion yuan.
Securities
Up to 2020, there was 2 corporate securities company, 31 branches of securities companies, 105 securities business departments, 2 corporate futures companies, 20 futures branches and 20 futures business departments in the city.
