The construction of the Siert R&D and Manufacturing Base, a key provincial industrial project, is approaching a major milestone. The project, which began in March 2024, is expected to complete the main structure by the end of August. The facility is scheduled for completion by the end of March 2025, with operations beginning in early 2026. Located in the Jimei District's mechanical industry cluster, the project involves an investment of 450 million yuan and covers an area of approximately 20,000 square meters. It will feature a two-story steel structure plant and a five-story reinforced concrete frame plant, designated for production line assembly and the digital assembly of lightweight intelligent products. Once operational, the facility will focus on serving the heavy machinery, power equipment, and military manufacturing sectors, providing intelligent manufacturing system solutions, product design, R&D, and production testing. The project is expected to generate an annual output value of 800 million yuan and create over 2,400 direct and indirect jobs.
