On August 12, Xiamen Torch Group's Marine Hi-Tech City Construction Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement with BioMarine. As a global network for the marine biotechnology industry, innovation, and investment, BioMarine has established the BioMarine Community, which includes over 6,500 active professionals from more than 32 countries and various industry backgrounds. BioMarine focuses on assisting governments and companies in formulating blue growth strategies, promoting marine biotechnology innovation, and creating opportunities for the sustainable use of marine biological resources, thereby fostering collaboration and sustainable growth. In the future, the two parties will leverage their respective resources and, based on the industrial development plan of Xiamen Marine Hi-Tech Zone, will work together to build a marine synthetic biology innovation platform. This platform will focus on the global blue bioeconomy, particularly in the marine pharmaceuticals and bioproducts industries, aiming for mutual success through collaboration.
