Since its planning and launch in August 2020, Xiamen Science and Technology Park has strategically established 2 provincial innovation laboratories, 3 collaborative innovation platforms, 5 incubators, 6 industrial parks, and 12 new research institutions and technology empowerment platforms. A large number of high-quality scientific and technological innovations have emerged, attracting a concentration of cutting-edge technology startups. The various platforms have registered over 1,600 enterprises and institutions. Focusing on the future development needs of industries such as third-generation semiconductors, hydrogen and energy storage, and genetic and biotechnology, Xiamen Science and Technology Park has initially built a multi-level high-energy innovation platform system, including provincial innovation laboratories, national innovation platforms, and international collaborative innovation platforms. This system has facilitated the research and development and accumulation of high-quality scientific and technological achievements and attracted a large number of high-level talents, forming a "strong magnetic field" that draws industrial clusters.
