Recently, the General Office of the People's Government of Fujian Province released the "Opinions on Promoting High-Quality Development of Key County Industry Chains," featuring seven sections and 25 measures. Many of these measures pertain to Xiamen. To strengthen and enhance key industry chains, the "Opinions" propose creating integrated circuit industry chains centered in Haicang, Xiang'an, and Huli, new display industry chains in Xiang'an and Huli, and automotive and parts industry chains in Jimei. For upgrading traditional and specialty industry chains, support will be given to strengthening the food industry chain in Tong'an and the aviation maintenance industry chain in Huli. In terms of nurturing emerging industry chains, support will focus on developing the lithium battery new energy industry chain in Haicang, Xiang'an, and Tong'an, the rare earth new materials industry chain in Haicang, the biopharmaceutical industry chain in Haicang, and the artificial intelligence industry chain in Jimei and Siming. The "Opinions" also emphasize accelerating digital transformation and promoting the construction of Xiamen as a national digital transformation pilot city for SMEs, supporting counties and districts in developing benchmark enterprises for digital transformation across various industries.
