Recently, a key digital economy project for 2024 in Fujian Province, the Baishilian Electronic Components Product Construction Project, commenced in Haicang District. Located at the intersection of Ningdian East Road and Jiaosong Road in the Haicang Port Area, the project covers an area of approximately 31,188 square meters with a building area of about 94,709 square meters and a total investment of 402.6 million yuan. The project will establish a product R&D and testing center for the South China region, expanding manufacturing for network data centers, medical, automotive charging accessories, smart home applications, industrial automation, and energy storage management. Construction is expected to be completed by August 2025, with production starting by February 2026, adding an estimated annual output value of 1 billion yuan.
