On July 23, the launch ceremony for the "2024 Xiamen Talent Service Month" was held, attended by over 200 representatives from key enterprises, major research institutions, overseas talent associations, and doctoral students from prestigious universities. Xiamen Party Secretary Cui Yonghui attended the event and delivered a speech, expressing a warm welcome to talents from home and abroad to choose Xiamen and establish their roots here. The 2024 Xiamen Talent Service Month focuses on themes of international talent attraction and creating a talent-friendly city. It aims to facilitate the transfer of academician and expert achievements to Xiamen, establish several international talent platforms, and introduce a series of talent-friendly policies. A highlight is the "Comprehensive Talent Service Package," which adds six new service measures in immigration and customs convenience, financial services, legal services, transportation, social recognition, and cultural leisure, fostering a city atmosphere that respects and values talent. Xiamen has always placed great emphasis on attracting top international talent. This year, the city upgraded its key talent project, the "Double Hundred Plan," providing up to 5 million yuan in funding support for full-time academicians and other top talents from home and abroad to innovate and start businesses in Xiamen.
