On July 10, the "Xiamen SAN-U Optoelectronics Industrial Park," built by SAN-U, successfully commenced operations. Located in the Tongxiang High-Tech City (Tong'an area), the project will provide high-performance optoelectronic components to domestic downstream enterprises, further stimulating chip design and production among upstream chip manufacturers in and around Xiamen. This is significant for enhancing the full semiconductor industry chain layout in Xiamen. Established in 2001, SAN-U is a national-level "Little Giant" enterprise, incubated by the Xiamen Innovation and Entrepreneurship Park. The company specializes in the research, development, design, production, and sales of semiconductor lasers, detectors, and related modules and systems. Their products are widely applied in key sectors such as data center optical interconnects, 5G optical communication networks, dual gigabit access networks, laser sensing and detection, and biomedical testing.
