On June 26, Tianma Microelectronics' 8.6-generation new display panel production line and the Micro-LED production line at the Tianma New Display Technology Research Institute were simultaneously unveiled in Tongxiang High-Tech City (Xiang'an District). These projects have entered the trial production and prototyping stage, marking that the Torch High-Tech Zone in Xiamen now comprehensively covers all mainstream types of new display production lines. As a leading enterprise in the display field, Tianma established its presence in the Torch High-Tech Zone in 2011. To date, it has set up five projects in Xiamen, including the 5.5-generation and 6-generation LTPS (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Silicon), 6-generation flexible AMOLED, 8.6-generation new display panel, and the Micro-LED production line at the new display technology research institute, with a total investment exceeding 100 billion yuan. Tianma's initiatives have made the Torch High-Tech Zone a comprehensive hub for all mainstream new display production lines, continually developing an ecosystem that integrates chips, screens, smart terminals, and information networks, thereby establishing a globally influential new display industry innovation highland.
