On June 21, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology published a list of 1,188 enterprises nationwide recommended for continued support as "Little Giant" specialized, refined, distinctive, and innovative enterprises. Among them, 22 enterprises from Xiamen were included. The selected Xiamen enterprises span various fields, including optoelectronics, semiconductors, biomedicine, and intelligent manufacturing, with leading companies such as PVTECH, EpiWorld, LEEDARSON, and Zeesan among them. From 2021 to 2025, the central government has allocated over 10 billion yuan in rewards and subsidies to support more than 1,000 national-level "Little Giant" enterprises for high-quality development, encouraging them to play a demonstrative role. To date, Xiamen has cultivated 31 key "Little Giant" enterprises, 165 "Little Giant" enterprises, 1,676 specialized and innovative small and medium-sized enterprises, and 1,839 innovative small and medium-sized enterprises, leading the province in the number of enterprises at each level.
