Xiamen-Anchorage route opens

On June 8, FedEx flight FX5161 took off from Xiamen Airport, stopping in Seoul, South Korea, before heading to Anchorage, USA. This marks the official opening of the Xiamen-Seoul-Anchorage cargo route, further enhancing the global air logistics network. The route is operated by a Boeing B777F freighter and will fly once a week every Saturday starting June 8. This is also FedEx's first cargo route from Xiamen to Anchorage. As of now, Xiamen Airport has a total of 41 international passenger and cargo routes. IPORT Group plans to add new passenger flights from Xiamen to regions such as the Middle East, Australia, and Africa, and increase the frequency of cargo flights to North America. These efforts aim to develop Xiamen into an international aviation hub and continuously enhance Xiamen's attractiveness to international investment.
