Recently, Xiamen was selected as one of the first pilot cities for the 2024 National Modern Trade Circulation System. The central government will provide fixed subsidies to these pilot cities. The support will focus on five main areas: promoting the integrated development of urban and rural trade circulation, building a circulation and supply system for essential goods, improving the rural trade circulation system, accelerating the cultivation of modern circulation backbone enterprises, and enhancing the urban-rural recycling system. In recent years, Xiamen has placed great emphasis on the construction of a modern circulation system, striving to optimize the modern trade circulation network, enhance supply chain innovation and application, speed up the construction of the national logistics hub, build a modern comprehensive transportation system, further smooth the circulation channels of goods and resources, and improve circulation efficiency.
