In the first quarter of this year, 1,012 national high-tech enterprises in Xiamen reported a revenue increase of over 50% year-on-year, with 628 of these companies seeing growth exceeding 100%. Xiamen is home to over 4,200 national high-tech enterprises, accounting for about 29% of the province's total. The city leads the province with 165 national-level specialized and innovative "Little Giant" companies and 18 national leaders in manufacturing. Xiamen is focused on fostering "clustered" and "innovative" industries, with four strategic emerging industries thriving. The city's efforts in building itself as an "Innovation City for New Energy Industries" are evident, with lithium-ion battery production increasing by 130% year-on-year. Industries such as new materials and biomedicine are continuously strengthening their competitive edge. The "4+4+6" modern industrial system in Xiamen is rapidly developing. Globally, Xiamen ranks 80th in "Technology Clusters" and 81st in "Technology Intensity."
