Three 200,000-ton vessels berth simultaneously at Xiamen Port for the first time

On May 15th, Xiamen Port achieved a milestone with three 200,000-ton class mega container ships docking simultaneously for the first time. Among these, the 400-meter-long "Singapore Express" belongs to the shipping giant Hapag-Lloyd and is the world's first dual-fuel container ship to use high manganese steel tanks for liquefied natural gas. The other two ships, both 400 meters long, are the "MSC Febe" and "MSC Hamburg," belonging to the shipping giant Mediterranean Shipping Company. Xiamen Port, one of the few natural deep-water ports in the world that can accommodate 200,000-ton vessels around the clock, continues to attract global mega container ships.
