I. Overview
TheEastern New Town of Sports, Conference Exhibition is located in Xindian Town in the south of Xiang'an District. It borders South Xiang'an Road on the northwest, coaston the southwest, Xiang'an Avenue and the Metro Community of Xindian Indemnificatory Housing Project on the southeast and the enclosed area of West Xiang'an Road on the northeast, with a planned total coverage area of 6.28sqkm and a projected population of about 80,000. The New Town enjoys a good geographic location and a superb natural environment. Located in the center of the eastern part of Xiamen and within the dual influence of Xiamen Island and the Eastern New Town Center of Xiang'an, it enjoys naturally superb geographic conditions.
2. Convenient Transportation
The New Town has highly developed and convenient transportation for its close proximity to Xiang'an Tunnel on the southeast and the Second Eastern Passageway of Xiamen on the northwest. South Xiang'an Road, Xiang'an Avenue, East Binhai Avenue and other fast roads and Metro Lines #3 and 4 pass this region for quick access to Xiamen Island, Xiamenbei Railway Station, Xiamendong Railway Station, Gaoqi International Airport and the new airport of Xiamen.
