Recently, the Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology released the list of cities selected for the 2024 pilot program for new technology upgrades in the manufacturing industry. Twenty cities (districts) are proposed to be included in the pilot program, with Xiamen being one of them. These selected cities are leaders in the field of new technology upgrades in the manufacturing industry nationwide. For the selected pilot cities, the central government will allocate up to 300 million yuan in subsidy funds to each city to support enterprise technology upgrade projects. Additionally, support will be provided for the demonstration of digital and intelligent transformation, the demonstration of digital collaboration in industrial chain and supply chain, and the demonstration of digital and green transformation in industrial clusters and technology industrial parks. This will accelerate the promotion and application of digital technology, green technology, and innovative products.
