Recently, Leyard Optoelectronics Co., Ltd. officially signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Huli District People's Government of Xiamen. Leyard will invest in building a factory in Huli District to establish its Southeast Operations Headquarters, focusing on breakthroughs in "Next-Generation Advanced Micro LED Packaging Display Technology" (MIP, POG). Leyard chose Huli District in Xiamen for several reasons: Xiamen has a strong foundation in innovation and entrepreneurship, a solid industrial base, clear planning, an excellent business environment, and a robust investment ecosystem. Additionally, as the birthplace of the Xiamen Special Economic Zone, Huli boasts a superior geographical location and transport advantages. The region has a strong industrial base, particularly in the emerging new display industry centered on Micro LED. Leveraging the scientific research resources and talent advantages of Xiamen University, the area promotes a deep integration of industry, academia, and research led by local enterprises.
