Founded in 1947 and headquartered in California, Barnes Electronics has been dedicated to providing customers with high-standard electronic component solutions. In 1994, Barnes made its entry into Xiamen's Torch High-Tech Zone, establishing Barnes Xiamen, marking the city's first fully American-owned enterprise. Over the past three decades, Barnes Xiamen has continually expanded its business scope and now serves as Barnes' manufacturing hub for the Chinese market, with products being used in automotive electronics, consumer electronics, and other fields. As of late March, expansion efforts for the sixth-generation automotive steering sensor production line are underway within the facilities of Barnes Xiamen, expected to boost the capacity for the sixth-generation steering sensors by nearly 70% upon completion.
