ABB shapes a low-carbon model in Xiamen

Switzerland-based ABB, a century-old leader in electrical and automation technology, has been ceaselessly expanding in China since its establishment in the Xiamen Torch High-tech Zone in 1992. The ABB Xiamen Industrial Center, located in the Xiamen Torch (Xiang'an) Industrial Zone, is one of ABB's key global production bases and strategic industrial hubs. The center plays a crucial role in ABB's operations, with products exported to over 60 countries and regions. It also serves as a demonstration of ABB's commitment to low-carbon transformation, with clean energy utilization reaching 50%. Zhao Yongzhan, President of ABB China, stated that ABB would intensify investments in smart manufacturing this year. The company also plans to replicate and promote the successful low-carbon transformation model of the ABB Xiamen Industrial Center, build a green supply chain, and contribute to China's green and low-carbon development.
