Turkish Ambassador enthralled by Xiamen's charm

The Turkish Ambassador to China, İsmail Hakkı Musa, recently made a special trip to Xiamen to participate in the 24th Xiamen Stone Fair. Ambassador Musa was captivated by Xiamen's verdant landscapes and its clean, livable environment, which he described as simply enchanting. The trade ties between Xiamen and Turkey, particularly in the stone industry, have flourished over the years, with bilateral trade nearing the USD 2 billion mark. The ambassador underscored the importance of the stone fair, noting that since 2007, the Turkish national pavilion has consistently been one of the event's highlights, showcasing the largest area and the highest number of companies. This year was no exception, with 94 Turkish companies making a significant impact and further cementing the economic and friendly ties between China and Turkey. Musa reiterated the deep, historical bonds of friendship between the two nations and committed to fostering closer exchanges and cooperation between Turkey and Xiamen, enhancing mutual understanding and investment, and ultimately enriching the lives of people in both locales.
