On March 7th, GUTOR's CEO, Djamel Idri, visited their factory located in the Xiamen Torch High-tech Zone. With a 77-year history, GUTOR is a global leader in the manufacturing of Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS) for industrial use. The Xiamen factory commenced operations in September 2023 and serves as GUTOR's main production facility in China. Specializing in providing UPS solutions for demanding industrial environments such as petrochemical, nuclear power, and coal-fired power plants, the Xiamen factory has achieved a significant market share, especially in the nuclear power sector. It is projected that by 2024, the annual production capacity of the Xiamen factory will grow by over 100%. Djamel Idri's visit aimed to reinforce GUTOR's commitment to China and to further develop the Xiamen factory into a leading showcase. Idri announced plans to introduce GUTOR's latest R&D achievements to the Xiamen facility, leverage China's extensive supply chain advantages, attract high-end talent, intensify local innovation efforts, and foster close cooperation with Xiamen's local electrical power industry.
