On March 11th, the Maritime Silk Road Global Family Office and Cross-border Wealth Management Service Center commenced operations in the Haishang World of the Pilot Free Trade Zone, marking a first in Chinese mainland. Moving forward, the zone aims to position Xiamen as a preferred destination for global family offices and cross-border wealth management services, following Switzerland, Singapore, and Hong Kong. Family offices represent a modern approach to family wealth management. The newly launched center focuses on wealth management, intergenerational succession, cross-border investment and financing, and overseas M&A restructuring for entities and entrepreneurs involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, offering services such as family office management, legal, talent, industrial services, and comprehensive protection.
