On March 6th, the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, together with the Foreign Affairs Office of the Xiamen Municipal Government, the Exit-Entry Administration Bureau of the Xiamen Public Security Bureau, and the Xiamen Association of Foreign-Invested Enterprises, jointly organized a policy briefing on the APEC Business Travel Card and related immigration policies. The initiative is part of Xiamen's efforts to enhance the business environment and promote high-quality development among local enterprises. In November 2023, the "Immigration Service Station" was established to provide efficient and convenient services for foreign nationals in Xiamen, facilitating their economic and trade exchanges. Additionally, efforts to promote the APEC Business Travel Card have been intensified to expand the reach of policy awareness and ease the travel of Xiamen's business personnel for overseas exchanges. Moving forward, the Bureau of Commerce plans to strengthen collaboration with various departments, enhance the promotion of immigration policies and the APEC Business Travel Card, fully leverage policy benefits, boost confidence among enterprises to "go global," accelerate their international expansion, and actively attract foreign high-end and urgently needed talents.
