Hot on the heels of launching the Xiamen-Manila cargo route, March 3rd marked the commencement of direct cargo flights between Xiamen and Ho Chi Minh City by Air Road Cargo, making it the city's inaugural direct cargo connection with Vietnam's bustling metropolis. Operating twice weekly, the route focuses on transporting general trade items and fresh produce. The service is expected to handle an annual freight throughput of 2,000 tons, effectively meeting the logistical demands between the two regions. As Fujian Province's third-largest trade partner in ASEAN, Vietnam has always been a hotspot for Fujian enterprises in terms of investment and trade. With the implementation of RCEP bringing more cooperative benefits and momentum, the opening of international cargo routes promises significant potential for deepening economic and trade cooperation between Fujian and Vietnam.
