Since implementing the 24-hour direct transit facilitation measure at Xiamen port on January 11th, which allows international transit passengers to bypass border checks, over 10,000 travelers from more than 90 countries and regions have benefited by February 25th. South Korea, France, and the Netherlands are among the countries with the highest number of transiting passengers. Additionally, over 1,200 passengers from Hong Kong, Macau, and Taiwan have also taken advantage of this 24-hour direct transit service. Since the introduction of this measure at Xiamen Gaoqi International Airport, it has become the second busiest among the five airports implementing the facilitation measures, with a daily transit passenger peak exceeding 400.
