On the evening of February 26th, flight MF8991 took off from Xiamen Gaoqi Airport to Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport in the Philippines, marking the official launch of Air Road Cargo's full-cargo international freight route between Xiamen and Manila. This route, being Air Road Cargo's first regular international service and also Xiamen's first direct full-cargo flight to Manila, operates five times a week. It establishes a more convenient and efficient "air corridor" between China's southeast region and Southeast Asia. Air Road Cargo plans to further expand this "air transport corridor" by opening more routes to Southeast Asian destinations such as Ho Chi Minh City, thus promoting the "Air Silk Road" initiative in the region.
