Xiamen Port's "Silk Road Maritime" service exceeds 10,000 voyages

On February 1st, the vessel "SITC YOKKAICHI" set sail from Haitian Terminal with 1,100 TEUs of cargo, heading to important ports in countries involved in the Belt and Road Initiative, such as Vietnam and Thailand. On the same day, the number of voyages originating from Xiamen Port under the "Silk Road Maritime" named service surpassed 10,000. As China's first international comprehensive logistics service brand and platform themed around shipping and part of the Belt and Road Initiative, the "Silk Road Maritime" service has garnered positive responses from 320 partners over the past five years. Among them, the 59 "Silk Road Maritime" services originating from Xiamen Port have established a network of routes connecting 86 ports in 28 countries and regions, aiding Xiamen's development as an international container hub.
