A "unicorn" enterprise, a term used in the investment world, refers to a startup valued at over 1 billion USD and not older than 10 years. In 2023, Hithium Energy Storage was listed in Forbes China's New Generation "Unicorn" and "China Unicorn Enterprise Research Report 2023." Established just four years ago, Hithium Energy Storage's annual output value has already exceeded 10 billion yuan. In recent years, Xiamen has incorporated the new energy and new materials industry into its "4+4+6" modern industrial system, focusing on nurturing and continuously strengthening these strategic emerging industries, which have now exceeded a total scale of 100 billion yuan.
