Recently, the China Tourism Academy released a series of authoritative rankings. Xiamen earned the title of "Top 10 Preferred City for Tourism Enterprises" and ranked third and ninth in the "Cities Tourism Enterprises Most Want to Invest In" and "Cities Tourists Most Want to Visit" lists, respectively. Over the recent New Year holiday, Xiamen welcomed 1.7353 million tourists, generating tourism revenue of over 1.4 billion yuan. In the first three quarters of 2023, the city received 79.4962 million visitors, a 41.17% increase year-on-year, with total tourism revenue reaching 108.837 billion yuan, a 55.91% increase year-on-year. The booming market is a result of Xiamen's diligent efforts in integrating culture and tourism, rapidly developing into a "Cultural Center, City of Art, Island of Music," enriching cultural and tourism products, and enhancing service quality and hospitality.
