On December 26, Tianma New Display Technology Research Institute's Micro-LED production line took a significant step forward as the first machine was moved into its space in Xiamen Torch Hi-Tech Zone. This marks the transition of the project from the construction phase to the equipment installation and commissioning phase. The research institute, which serves as Tianma's platform for advancing Micro-LED technology, is dedicated to building a full-process Micro-LED production line. It aims for a breakthrough in the core process of Micro-LED to develop independent intellectual property and master mass production techniques. These efforts are intended to give a fresh impetus to the creation of a new display industry hub and the generation of new productive forces in Xiamen. Tianma's Micro-LED production line is anticipated to be launched by the middle of next year, with full completion by the end of next year. At best, small-scale mass production will be realized by 2025.
