On December 23, Xiamen Port successfully launched its first direct route to Da Nang, Vietnam, known as the "Da Nang Express." Operated exclusively by SITC International, this "Belt and Road" route is the 16th line that SITC International operates from Xiamen Port. It's expected to deploy three vessels, offering a capacity of around 300 TEUs per week, and can reach Da Nang in as little as two days, helping foreign trade companies reduce costs and increase efficiency. Simultaneously, Xiamen Port has added another "Belt and Road" route operated by Singapore Pacific International Lines to destinations including Singapore, Mauritius, Madagascar, and Mozambique. The opening of these new routes further expands Xiamen Port's foreign trade network, significantly supporting Xiamen's deeper integration into the "Belt and Road" initiative, and enhancing its role as a pivotal hub for the new dual-circulation development strategy.
