On November 22, the Marine Innovation Industrial Park (Phase I) project, the first industrial plot in the Xiamen Ocean High-tech Industrial Park (referred to as "Xiamen Ocean High-tech Zone"), officially commenced construction. The project covers a total land area of 81,905.947 square meters, with a maximum above-ground construction area of 245,700 square meters. With a total investment of approximately 1 billion yuan, the project and its supporting facilities are expected to be completed and operational within the next two years. As the only provincial-level ocean high-tech zone in Fujian Province, the Xiamen Ocean High-tech Zone has already reserved over 90 potential investment projects. The newly launched Marine Innovation Industrial Park (Phase I) will primarily develop facilities for marine biomedicine, high-end marine equipment, new materials, and other related industries, providing a fast track for enterprises to establish and start production.
