Xiamen Port has welcomed a new express line to the U.S. West Coast, with approximately a 15-day journey time to the Port of Los Angeles. This is one of the fastest maritime routes from Xiamen to Los Angeles currently available. Operated exclusively by the Israeli shipping giant ZIM Integrated Shipping Services, the route plans to deploy six container ships, each with a capacity of 50,000 to 70,000 tons, on a weekly basis. The line will make domestic stops only at Xiamen and Yantian ports before heading directly to the Port of Los Angeles. It meets the high time-efficiency demands of cross-border e-commerce logistics and can effectively reduce logistics costs for shippers. This new line will further strengthen Xiamen Port's foreign trade network and help establish it as a hub for both domestic and international dual circulation.
