On November 16th, the 2023 BRICS Forum on Partnership on New Industrial Revolution was convened in Xiamen. Themed "Deepening Partnership Cooperation, and Advancing New Industrialization in BRICS Nations," the forum invited representatives from BRICS and "BRICS Plus" countries' governments, businesses, academic institutions, and related international organizations. Discussions focused on topics such as digital transformation in manufacturing, green and low-carbon industry, and development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). A key highlight of this forum was the 2023 BRICS New Industrial Revolution Exhibition at the Xiamen International Convention and Exhibition Center. The BRICS PartNIR Innovation Base Exhibition Area was a major attraction, showcasing the latest achievements of over 20 Xiamen-based BRICS PartNIR Innovation Base companies in fields like digital manufacturing, green low-carbon, healthcare, and research innovation. The exhibition also spotlighted eight major enabling platforms of the PartNIR Innovation Base. The "BRICS circles" continues to expand, with this year's exhibition featuring case studies in industrial development and technological innovation from BRICS nations and international organizations, with countries and institutions like Iran, Ghana, and the United Nations Industrial Development Organization participating for the first time.
