Xiamen Port adds new Belt and Road shipping route

Xiamen Port has added a new shipping route to its Belt and Road lineup. The route includes stops at Qingdao Port, Shanghai Port, Ningbo Port, Jakarta Port and Surabaya Port in Indonesia, and Shekou Port, before heading directly from Xiamen to Busan Port in South Korea. On November 5th, TS MUNDRA, operated by T.S. Lines, smoothly docked at Haitian Terminal on its maiden voyage. The TS MUNDRA handled more than 700 TEUs in Xiamen Port and plans to load goods such as stone, ceramics, garments, hats, and flowers. The inauguration of this new route is set to further expand Xiamen Port's foreign trade network, boosting the port's role as a pivotal hub for both domestic and international dual circulation and advancing the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative.
