On October 20th, the Ministry of Commerce showcased its list of key enterprises and projects for national cultural exports in 2023-2024. Xiamen made a significant presence with 14 enterprises and five projects making the cut, ranking first in project numbers and second in enterprise numbers among sub-provincial cities. This year, Xiamen's cultural imports and exports have been nothing short of spectacular, reaching 9.413 billion yuan from January to August, a 35.0% year-on-year surge. Specifically, cultural service imports and exports skyrocketed to 4.22 billion yuan, a staggering three-and-a-half-fold increase from the previous year. Looking ahead, the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce is committed to guiding enterprises to expand their horizons, nurturing a batch of internationally competitive cultural enterprises, and propelling forward the high-quality development of foreign cultural trade.
