A new Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) route has recently been added to Xiamen Port, with destinations including ports in RCEP member countries such as ROK, Vietnam, and Malaysia. The new route can directly reach Cat Lai port in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam in just three days. This new route will further densify the foreign trade network of Xiamen Port, bolstering its RCEP maritime logistics channel, advancing the Belt and Road Initiative, and making it a crucial node in the domestic and international dual circulation. Leveraging core strengths like the Belt and Road Initiative and RCEP, Xiamen Port has become a pivotal container hub along the southeastern coast.
