The 2023 Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival, along with the 36th Film Golden Rooster Awards, will be hosted in Xiamen from November 1st to 4th. This year's festival will feature opening and award ceremonies, film screenings, academic forums, the Golden Rooster Film Market, film industry study seminars, the Golden Rooster Film Investment Conference, and the Golden Rooster Cross-Strait & Hong Kong and Macau Youth Short Film Season. Focusing on BRICS countries, "Belt and Road" nations, and Xiamen’s international sister cities, the festival will present the Golden Rooster International Film Exhibition and the Golden Rooster Chinese Language Film Exhibition, showcasing distinguished films from over 30 countries and regions, including Russia, France, and Brazil. Chairs of major global film festival committees and film artists from the USA, Poland, New Zealand, and other countries are invited to promote international film-cultural exchange and enhance the international communication and influence of Chinese cinema.
