On September 11, the 23rd China International Fair for Investment & Trade (CIFIT) wrapped up successfully. Within the 120,000 square-meter exhibition hall, nearly 80,000 domestic and foreign merchants from over 1,000 business and trade delegations across 106 countries and regions gathered. Preliminary counts indicate that 638 projects entered into cooperative agreements during the event, planning a total investment of 484.57 billion yuan. Both the number of participating institutions and the total agreed-upon investment reached a five-year high. Amid the ongoing slump in transnational investments, China's steadily growing two-way investment is emerging as a pivotal force in stabilizing global investment. CIFIT, staying true to its investment theme, continuously reflects China's new opportunities for external openness. The international character of CIFIT has become even more pronounced, establishing itself as a vital platform in the new era to promote international investment cooperation and facilitate mutually beneficial development.
