Recently, Xiamen was recognized as one of the inaugural cities piloting the digital transformation of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The Ministry of Finance and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology will foster the creation of "lighthouse" companies leading in digital transformation, cultivate high-quality digital service providers, and develop a suite of rapid and precise digital solutions. These pioneering cities will receive a subsidy fund of up to 0.15 billion yuan. Xiamen plans to select three pilot sub-industries, with around 600 SMEs and over 30 service providers participating in the pilot program, including 397 larger-scale SMEs.
