China Railway Express (Xiamen) breaks 100,000 TEUs of container cargo

Since its inaugural run on August 16, 2015, the China Railway Express (Xiamen) has established operational routes to Central Europe, Central Asia, and Russia, connecting with over 30 cities across 12 countries, including Germany, Hungary, Poland and Russia. Xiamen's custom reports indicate that over the last eight years, the rail route has efficiently moved 105 thousand TEUs, with goods valued at a staggering 31 billion yuan. This assortment ranges from electronics and machinery to everyday items, food, and wooden products, with the variety of specific products reaching into the thousands. As a hallmark of the "Belt and Road" initiative, the China Railway Express (Xiamen) epitomizes the ambition of bridging the maritime and land-based silk roads, forging an enhanced path of international logistics and trade connectivity.
