On the morning of the 8th, the Chinese Academy of Sciences' Institute of Physics and Chemistry's premier industrial project in Xiamen Science and Technology Park - the production line for buoyancy materials - was inaugurated. This buoyancy material, crucial for deep-sea exploration and aerospace, breaks the foreign technology monopoly and its production is set to inject new momentum into the development of new materials in Xiamen. The Xiamen Science and Technology Park has evolved into a preferred destination for entrepreneurs, scientists, and investors looking to innovate and establish ventures in Xiamen. The park now hosts two provincial innovative laboratories, namely the Tan Kah Kee Innovation Lab and Xiang An Biomedicine Laboratory, alongside 12 cutting-edge R&D institutions and public technological service platforms. Over 1,400 companies of various types have registered and settled in the core park area.
