Returnees' Entrepreneurship for a Better Future" Overseas Startup Competition concludes

On August 4th, the "Returnees' Entrepreneurship for a Better Future" Overseas Startup Competition, alongside the 6th Xiamen Overseas Entrepreneurship Competition (North American Division), held its grand finals. Thirty-two entrepreneurial teams from three categories, namely, biomedicine and medical equipment, next-generation electronic information technology, and advanced technology, went head-to-head in a climax showdown. As a vital event of the "2023 Xiamen Talent Service Month," this competition, spanning over five months, attracted a record number of 125 project entries, marking the highest in both quantity and quality to date. The competition's primary goal is to lure more outstanding overseas talents, technologies, projects, and capital to Xiamen, accelerating the aggregation of innovative entrepreneurial resources in the city. After six years of evolution, the Xiamen Overseas Entrepreneurship Competition has expanded its reach to regions including North America, the UK, Singapore, and Russia. Since its inception, the competition has attracted over 900 projects, nurturing nearly a hundred under Xiamen's "Double Hundred Program."
