Recently, Xiamen Municipal People's Government Office has forwarded the Three-Year Program of Action (2023-2025) for Xiamen's Construction of An Express Delivery Model City in China, formulated by the Xiamen Municipal Postal Administration. According to the action program, Xiamen's goal is to achieve significant growth in its express business volume and income, aiming to achieve over 750 million pieces in express business volume and over 10 billion RMB in express business income by 2025. The action program encompasses six primary tasks. According to the action program, Xiamen will establish a prominent international container trunk line hub port and strategically enhance the functional layout of the port. At the same time, Xiamen will actively support enterprises to construct overseas warehouses in the BRICS countries, along the "Belt and Road" route, in Southeast Asia, in the European Union countries, and in other key locations.
