At the beginning of this year, the first domestic generative AI standard was released, in which Xiamen-based companies Meiya Pico and Dataexa participated in its formulation, reflecting the strength of Xiamen enterprises in the field of artificial intelligence. Xiamen has a solid industrial foundation in the field of AI, with a collaborative system gradually forming between technology-oriented and application-oriented companies. With Xiamen Software Park, Torch Hi-Tech Zone, and Xiamen Free Trade Zone as the main hubs, nearly 200 AI-related enterprises have gathered, focusing on core technology areas such as computer vision, image processing, biometrics, speech recognition, natural language processing, data mining/big data analytics, etc. At the current stage, Xiamen has already amassed a group of leading domestic enterprises in terms of technology applications, with over 10,000 relevant software copyrights. It has achieved comprehensive coverage of the AI industry chain and has pioneered a number of "Xiamen brands" in areas such as intelligent connected vehicles, unmanned aerial vehicles, and smart homes.
