To adapt to new situations, tasks, and requirements in industrial development and promote the optimization and upgrading of the city's industrial structure, Xiamen has further revised and improved the "Xiamen Key Industries Development Guidance Catalog" (hereinafter referred to as the "Industry Catalog") based on the city's "4+4+6" modern industrial system and the actual development of industries. The "Industry Catalog (2023 Edition)" consists of five modules, 14 primary categories, 55 secondary categories, and 114 items. Compared with the 2021 edition, the main revisions include re-categorizing areas such as software information services, mechanical equipment, and biomedicine, and adding "new energy industry, future industry, traditional characteristic industry," etc. The main contents include pillar industry clusters, strategic emerging industries, future industries, traditional characteristic industries, and others.
