Xiamen was among the list of pilot cities for intelligent construction released by the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development last November, facing a three-year pilot program. Recently, Xiamen Municipal People's Government has issued "Xiamen's Implementation Plan for Intelligent Construction Pilot Program". Under the pilot program, Xiamen will plan a series of innovative projects. By the end of 2025, Xiamen aims to initiate 100 digitalized construction projects and 30 intelligent construction projects; to build an integrated industry business system that includes an intelligent construction management platform and an intelligent construction industry data center. In addition, the city will introduce or cultivate no less than 10 leading companies engaged in intelligent construction; build six production bases for prefabricated building parts above provincial level, three industrial parks related to the intelligent construction industry chain, establish two to three prefabricated building training bases and intelligent construction training bases; build one worker cultivation base for construction industry. Moreover, Xiamen plans to bring in and train a group of highly qualified comprehensive management talents and intelligent construction industry workers, and build its capability for industry-wide digital solutions, to basically form an intelligent construction industry ecology.
