On April 16, the Xiamen Cultural Film and Television Industry Promotion Conference was held in Beijing. It was announced that the China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival, along with the China Film Golden Rooster Awards Ceremony would be held in Xiamen for ten consecutive years starting from 2019. The 2023 China Golden Rooster and Hundred Flowers Film Festival, as well as the China Film Golden Rooster Awards Ceremony, will take place in early November. The ten-year-long partnership between the film festival and Xiamen's film and television industry will further promote deep integration, creating a new benchmark for the "Golden Rooster plus Xiamen" model. Since the Golden Rooster settled in Xiamen, the city has continuously strengthened policy support, optimized the business environment, and improved service capabilities, successfully attracting a large number of cultural film and television enterprises and projects, forming a complete industrial chain integrating film production, post-production, special effects, animation, music, etc. In the past five years, the number of cultural film and television industry enterprises and institutions in Xiamen has grown at an annual rate of 10.2%, with revenue increasing by 17.8% per year, demonstrating strong momentum for the industry's development.
